Australian Championship winning Top Fuel team, Lamattina Top Fuel Racing has confirmed new partners to their organisation with R&J Batteries and Dayco onboard for the 2022 Championship!
Team owner Phil Lamattina has had a long relationship with the R&J Batteries business and was very happy to have the iconic Victorian-based company supporting the FUCHS Top Fuel dragster.
Lamattina explained, “R&J Batteries is a business that has gone from strength to strength and to see them push into new territories is exciting for them and for us. Our championship is going all over the country just like they are! With their business starting not too far from Heathcote Park Raceway, it will be great to have an event that is local to them!”
R&J Batteries are a force throughout both Australia and New Zealand in the supply of batteries for all applications including automotive, commercial, motorcycle, marine, deepcycle, solar and industrial batteries.
An icon in drive systems and the only name to trust in Top Fuel supercharger belts, Dayco are also now a part of the LTFR racing program. Dayco is well known as a global leader in the research, design, manufacture and distribution of essential engine drive systems and aftermarket services for automotive, truck, construction, agriculture and industrial applications.
Lamattina concluded, “To have Dayco onboard is an honour, they are the only belts we trust. We don’t take chances in any area of engine performance and Dayco is the best of the best.”
“We are excited to have leading companies like R&J and Dayco join our team and our sport. We plan on taking them to success both on and off the track.”
